An exciting opportunity is available for an Administration Support Officer at the City Works Depot to assist in Parks, Open Space and Reserves.
This role is far more than normal administration. You'll be trusted to provide high level support to Operations, helping coordinate key priorities, manage competing demands, track actions and deadlines, support reporting requirements and contribute to maintenance projects and continuous improvement initiatives across Operations.
The Park, Open Space and Reserves are responsible for a diverse range of services including Street Cleaning, Graffiti removal and control, Event Support, Tree pruning, Open Area Slashing and Spraying, Parks and Community Facility landscape maintenance, Playgrounds, Hammond Park and much more. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain broad exposure across these areas while working closely with leaders and stakeholders throughout the organization.

Duties - Key responsibilities include:
· Provide a strong level of professional assistance, advice, relevant customer service and maintain effective working relationships with/for the Works Depot teams, the wider City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder organization and external customers whilst providing information and/or advice.
· All administrative aspects for the wider Works Depot, including but not limited to, coordination of incoming calls, filing, minutes, photocopy and/or distribution of documents as requested, handling, processing and/or distribution of inspection reports, time sheets, meter reading and recording.
· Assist with preparing quotation and tender documents as well as following up with selected contractors with programming works.
· Work alongside the City's Customer Service Team to maintain a seamless transition for public enquiries to completion and resolution in conjunction with City Presentation and Open Space works teams
· Always display professionalism, ensuring sound judgement, initiative, discretion, sensitivity and confidentiality.
· Assist with maintaining works schedules, programs, timetables and rosters for the Works Depot Supervisors.
