Aged Care and Disability Coordinator
Roper Gulf Regional Council is seeking a capable and community-focused Aged Care and Disability Coordinator to help deliver essential care services in Ngukurr. This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact in remote communities while working in a dynamic and supportive environment.
As the Aged Care and Disability Coordinator, you will coordinate Council's Aged Care and NDIS programs across the region, managing all clients registered for HCP, CHSP and NDIS and overseeing service delivery to them. You'll advise the Aged Care and Disability Manager on staffing levels, identify skills gaps and coordinate training schedules, monitor client contributions including Medicare and Centrelink, and provide support and mentoring to Community Service Officers and Team Leaders. The role also covers resource and budget planning, monthly and weekly reporting, compliance with aged care regulations, and ensuring kitchen and other Aged Care facilities meet legislated standards and hold appropriate food preparation licensing. You'll work across systems including PRODA, MAC, Medicare, Centrelink, E-Tools and SharePoint.
This is a permanent, full-time position based in Ngukurr, NT, reporting to the Aged Care and Disability Manager.
