Position Overview:

As the Enterprise Project Management Lead your primary responsibility will be to review and improve Banyule’s Project Management Framework (PMF), ensuring alignment with strategic goals and community priorities. You will collaborate closely with key stakeholders to develop guides, templates, and processes that support various project methodologies and stages. Your role will also involve providing coaching and support to staff, overseeing the implementation of change management strategies, and managing PMF project software for transparent reporting.

What you’ll do:

  • Review and enhance the Project Management Framework creating guides and templates.
  • Coach staff on Project Management Framework application and ensure continuous improvement.
  • Implement change management strategies and manage PMF software.
  • Ensure compliance with project processes and resolve issues with project managers.
  • Support project teams with governance and track project benefits.
  • Collect and report on project timelines, budgets, quality, and return on investment.

What we are looking for:

You’ll have Project Management expertise, and you’ll be adept at coaching and guiding others to understand the positive benefits and impact of project management methodologies and new ways of working. You will demonstrate:

  • Proven experience in project management within a complex organisation.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and frameworks.
  • Ability to coach and mentor staff at all levels.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Change management expertise, including strategy development and implementation.
  • Analytical mindset with proficiency in project management tools and software.
  • Relevant qualifications in project management or related fields.

Mandatory Pre-employment screenings:

  • Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check (NCCHC).
