About the opportunity

The Shire of Augusta Margaret River is calling for candidates who are experienced Mechanics to join our friendly workshop team based at our depot in Margaret River.

If you have a Mechanical Trades Certificate, proven experience of servicing and repairing plant and equipment and are looking for a sea change or a family friendly roster, please apply now.

Expressions of Interest – Mechanic

Full-time and Part-time positions available.

General skills required:

• Completion of Mechanical Trades Certificate.
• Proven ability to provide inductions on the safe us and maintenance of plant and equipment.
• Demonstrated experience working under limited supervision and ability to coordinate own work.
• Experience in leading and providing on the job training to an apprentice.
• Strong background in servicing light vehicles
