Permanent Full-time Opportunity for a Plant Operator - Southern Regional Livestock Exchange Available!

The Opportunity

Plant Operators at the Southern Regional Livestock Exchange operate a fleet of small and large plant to support the management of cattle and ensure safe, efficient, and best practice operating methods are maintained whilst providing excellent customer service to internal and external customers.

Essential Criteria

  1. Experience in a maintenance role, manual labouring role, or plant operations role.
  2. Ability to work in a multi-skilled teams-based environment.
  3. Effective communicator with customers, team members, and contractors.
  4. Ability to prioritise work tasks based upon customer/supplier needs and environmental conditions.
  5. Experience working with livestock or animals would be highly favourable.
  6. Hold and maintain MR Drivers Licence, and WHS Induction Card with a willingness to obtain within 12 months of employment;
  7. Current Drivers Licence (class C)
  8. Participate in a Pre-Employment medical including a drug and alcohol screening prior to commencement
