Play a key role in supporting the increase the recovery of reusable / recyclable materials and make a significant difference in our community!
This is a diverse and rewarding leadership role where you will oversee kerbside collection services, landfill and resource recovery operations, contract management, customer service functions and circular economy initiatives. You will play a key role in delivering innovative resource recovery outcomes, improving operational performance and supporting Council's vision for a sustainable future.
Working closely with contractors, government agencies, community groups and internal stakeholders, you will positively influence service delivery, environmental outcomes and Council's reputation within the community.
About this opportunity
You will provide strategic and operational leadership across Council's resource recovery services. You will drive service improvements, lead major projects, manage key contracts and identify opportunities to increase recycling, reduce landfill disposal and deliver better outcomes for our community.
