Are you a skilled property management professional looking to make an impact in local government? As our Senior Property and Projects Officer, you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality property management services that benefit the community.

In this role, you will:

  • Drive all aspects of property management, ensuring efficient and effective operations that align with Council objectives.
  • Lead key and complex property projects at Council that enhance community assets and deliver positive financial outcomes through effective communication and strategic decision making.
  • Provide advice and guidance on property matters to internal stakeholders.
  • Identify new revenue-generating or efficiency opportunities in the management of existing property assets.
  • Identify and initiate new property projects where opportunities arise for the benefit of the Banyule community
  • Ensure compliance with legislation and best practices while maintaining a strong focus on quality outcomes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners to deliver innovative and sustainable property solutions.

What you'll bring – skills and experience:

  • Tertiary qualification in Property Management or extensive property management experience
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and the ability to read, interpret and carry out those requirements relative to property management.
  • Demonstrated skills in managing competing and complex property matters in an effective and strategic manner
  • Demonstrated experience in complex Property Projects
  • Demonstrated experience in stakeholder management

Pre-employment requirements

  • Current Victorian Driver’s Licence,

What we offer:

  • Salary range $105,724.83 to $117,953.20 per annum plus super
