The Role 

As an Urban Designer for the City you will lead, participate in, and co-ordinate the delivery of priority projects in the Bendigo City Centre, suburban and rural town centres and neighbourhoods, transport facilities and key strategic sites.

You will collaborate across departments and with other organisations to provide creative and spatial design thinking and expertise to areas of significant change in the city, preparing streetscape masterplans.

About You 

To be successful in this role you will have a sound understanding of the capacity of quality design to enhance the built form, structure and public realm of a regional city.

You will also have demonstrated knowledge and experience in leading and/or contributing to the preparation of strategies, guidelines, masterplans, policies and urban design initiatives with highly developed project management skills.

Demonstrated experience in facilitating and coordinating community and stakeholder engagement is essential for this role.

If you hold Degree or Diploma qualification with several years of subsequent relevant experience in Urban Design, architecture or similar discipline, we welcome your application.
