Are you passionate about tourism and dedicated to enhancing the visitor experience in a vibrant community? If so, we want you to join our team as a Visitor Services Officer on a full-time basis in Menzies, just 134kms from Kalgoorlie and 101kms from Leonora, offering easy access to larger towns and a peaceful rural lifestyle.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Create Memorable Visitor Experiences: Ensure a welcoming, informative, and positive environment for visitors.
• Tourism Assets Management: Oversee key landmarks like the Lady Shenton building and the Caravan Park.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to keep our tourism services running smoothly.
• Event Coordination and Administrative Support: Assist with event planning and day-to-day office tasks.
• Promotional Work: Manage signage and materials that showcase our community and region.

What We're Looking For:

• Experience: Previous work in tourism, community services, or similar roles
• Skills: Strong communication, organisational, and time-management skills
• Customer Service: A passion for delivering top-notch service to visitors
• Independence: Ability to work unsupervised and be self-motivated
• Tech Savvy: Proficiency in MS Office and basic computer skills
• Work Rights: Must have valid Australian work rights to be eligible for this position
