Join our Infrastructure team based at the Wastewater Treatment Plant in Akuna Road. This role involves performing a wide range of manual tasks under the direction of the Wastewater Supervisor, contributing significantly to Council's water operation services and infrastructure projects. You will also spend some time at the Water Treatment Plant in Webb Street to give you a good overview of how Council's water services are provided to our community.

To qualify, you will hold a General Construction Induction Card (White Card), a current driver's licence, and at least one year of relevant hands-on experience in a similar role or industry.

The appointment will be in accordance with the Local Government (State) Award and Parkes Shire Council's policies and conditions of employment.
The role has been evaluated as being Grade 2 of Council's salary structure and offers a competitive annual base salary of $52,000 to $60,000 (depending on skills and experience) plus allowances, super and salary packaging options to increase your take-home pay.
