• Level 6-7 $86,504 - $101,397 pa

Position description and selection criteria

Position Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing planning applications in accordance with the Local Planning Scheme and relevant State/Local Planning Policies, as well as demonstrating the following:

• A tertiary qualification, or requisite experience relevant to urban and regional planning
• Experience in project managing planning applications
• Sound knowledge of sustainable development principles and experience applying these in a local and regional land use planning context
• Developed communication skills and the ability to build strong working relationships
