The Role:
This is a role for a Project Officer – City Design to support the team providing design solutions for a range of place-based projects encompassing streetscapes, urban renewal, parks and reserves, linear trail and transport corridors and other key sites and precincts.
We take projects from initiation, through design to delivery. We deal with different teams across the organisation that support us with their skills and expertise. We engage with community on a range of project types and work closely with our contractors to deliver works.

City Design is a unit within the Development and Growth Division which is responsible for delivering quality design projects in streetscapes and the public realm, open spaces, new links for walking, cycling and recreational trails, upgrades to major urban renewal sites and other urban and landscape design projects.
The team are a small but passionate group of designers, placemakers and technical experts who believe in the future of Ballarat and the potential to make a positive impact on its future through great design and placemaking.
