You will be required to provide high-quality customer service by delivering clear, up-to-date information and supporting customers during their visit to the facility. You will guide customers on entry conditions and site processes, ensuring a smooth and positive experience. The role involves inspecting and identifying waste materials to ensure correct disposal, while directing vehicles and managing traffic flow to maintain safe and efficient operations. You will work as part of a team to support daily site activities, uphold safety standards, and contribute to effective resource recovery outcomes. The applicant will be available to work a part-time role of 49 hours per fortnight, with the following roster:
Monday - 9:30am to 1:30pm (4 hours)
Thursday - 7:30am to 4:15pm (8 hours / 45 min break)
Friday - 7:30am to 4:15pm (8 hours / 45 min break)
Saturday - 9:45am to 2:15pm (4.5 hours)
We’re seeking a reliable, detail-oriented team member with strong customer service skills and confidence using computer systems. You’ll be calm under pressure, able to problem-solve quickly, and communicate clearly. Experience in cash handling, traffic control, or waste operations is desirable, with a strong focus on safety and accuracy.
Remuneration: base salary commencing at $63,644 (pro-rata) gross per annum
+ adverse working conditions allowance of $2,839 (pro-rata) gross per annum
+ 12% superannuation
+ annual performance-based salary increases / bonus (1-3.5%)
+ annual award increase
