This position is responsible to carrying out all operational duties at the Waste Management Facility, in a safe and professional manner. To work within and contribute to a multi-skilled team that promotes Council’s service image by providing courteous, responsive, and effective customer service.
This position will operate machinery used to operate the Waste Management Facility including: hook lift truck, front end loader, excavator (tracked & wheeled), waste compactor, back hoe loader and forklift.
Council is looking for enthusiastic candidates with relevant skills or a keen willingness to learn new skills required for the position. To be successful in the role you will work closely with your colleagues to complete daily tasks and identify any operational improvements to better Council’s Waste Facilities performance.
This position is full-time across 4 days: Wednesday to Saturday, 7:45am to 5:15pm each day.
Remuneration: base salary commencing at $59,414 to $70,683 gross per annum
+11.5% superannuation
+ performance payment 1% - 3.5% annual salary
+ annual award increase
