Roads and Civil Supervisor

Croydon Shire Council is seeking an experienced and practical Roads & Civil Supervisor to provide hands-on leadership for Council’s roads and civil works crews. This is a field-based leadership role where you'll coordinate daily operations, resources and crews while helping deliver safe, efficient and high-quality infrastructure works across the Shire. Working closely with crews, contractors and management, you'll help keep works on track, maintain operational records, monitor quality and safety standards, and support Council's broader infrastructure priorities.
Skills & Experience Required
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
• Experience supervising roads, civil or infrastructure works
• Strong practical leadership and problem-solving skills
• Ability to coordinate crews, plant, contractors and resources
• Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
• Good communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Sound record keeping, reporting and Microsoft 365 skills
• Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
• Focus on accountability, quality and continuous improvement
What We Offer

The total remuneration package is valued at approximately $103,000–$112,000 per annum and includes:
• Base salary from approximately $85,000–$95,000, depending on qualifications and experience
• 12% superannuation
