These roles offer flexible shifts across weekdays, weekends and public holidays, with opportunities for additional hours as our programs grow and demand increases throughout the summer season.

Pool Attendant
In this role, you will:
Deliver friendly and professional customer service.
Assist patrons and support day to day facility operations.
Undertake kiosk sales, inventory stocking, barista duties and general enquiries.
Help maintain a clean, welcoming and safe environment for all users.
Applicants must be at least 14 years of age.
Lifeguard
In this role, you will:
Supervise Aquatic Centre users and promote safe behaviour.
Maintain a safe and enjoyable environment for patrons.
Open, close and prepare the facility for daily operations.
Respond to emergencies and provide First Aid and CPR when required.
Complete incident reporting and assist with water testing and maintenance tasks.
Maintain the fitness and swimming capability required to perform rescues.
Applicants must be at least 16 years of age, or turning 16 during the season, and be willing and able to complete the required Royal Life Saving Lifeguard training.
Lifeguard Supervisor
In addition to Lifeguard responsibilities, you will:
Lead and support Lifeguards and Pool Attendants.
Coordinate daily activities to ensure high standards of safety, customer service and facility presentation.
Oversee operations in the absence of the Aquatic Centre Manager.
Mentor team members and assist with training and development.
Apply strong judgement, organisation and communication skills in a dynamic environment.
Applicants for this role will require a minimum of two seasons' lifeguarding experience.
Learn to Swim Instructor
In this role, you will:
Deliver engaging swimming and water safety lessons.
Create a positive learning environment for participants.
Build strong relationships with students, parents and carers.
Monitor and record participant progress.
Contribute to the ongoing development and scheduling of the Learn to Swim program.
Aqua Fitness Instructor
In this role, you will:
Plan and deliver Aqua Fitness classes.
Adapt programs to suit participants of varying ages and abilities.
Encourage participation and promote health and wellbeing through aquatic exercise.
Assist with the development and scheduling of the Aqua Fitness program.
About You
You will ideally bring:
A commitment to water safety and exceptional customer service.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.
Adaptability and sound judgement in a changing environment.
Confidence in and around water.
The fitness and capability required to perform the role safely.
Relevant qualifications or a willingness to obtain them where required.
Relevant qualifications are preferred for some roles, however training and support may be available for suitable applicants.
