The role
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Duty Manager – Swim School to support the day-to-day delivery of our Swim School programs across Canterbury-Bankstown Leisure & Aquatic Centres. In this hands-on role, you will help ensure safe, engaging and high-quality swimming lessons while providing leadership and support to Swim School staff. There are two Duty Manager Swim School positions available. One position will be primarily based at Canterbury Leisure and Aquatic Centre, while the other will rotate across Council’s Leisure and Aquatic sites in line with operational needs.
Working closely with the Swim School Leadership Team, you will oversee daily operations, coordinate program logistics and administration, support staff development, and ensure an exceptional customer experience for participants and their families.

The salary for this opportunity starts at $74,693 (Grade D, Step 1) plus 12% superannuation.
