Turf and Reticulation Supervisor

Base Salary $101,756 to $109,353 per annum plus super Housing & relocation packages negotiable

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Turf and Reticulation Supervisor to lead the delivery of turf and irrigation maintenance programs across the City's parks, sports grounds and public open spaces.

Reporting to the Turf and Reticulation Coordinator, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the Turf and Reticulation team, ensuring works are planned, resourced and delivered safely, efficiently and to agreed service standards. This role combines hands-on leadership, contractor supervision and operational coordination to maintain high-quality community assets and public spaces.

What you’ll be doing:

• Lead and supervise the Turf and Reticulation team to deliver planned and reactive maintenance programs

• Coordinate daily and weekly work schedules, allocating staff, plant and equipment to meet operational priorities

• Oversee contractors on site, ensuring works are completed safely, on time and to required quality standards

• Inspect turf and irrigation assets, identify defects

and coordinate maintenance activities to maintain asset condition

• Manage service requests, customer enquiries and operational records to support effective service delivery.

What We're Looking For

• Qualifications in Horticulture, Irrigation, Sports Turf Management or a related field, or significant experience in amenity horticulture maintenance

• Proven experience leading operational teams within parks, turf, irrigation or horticultural environments

• Strong knowledge of turf management, irrigation systems and maintenance planning

• Experience supervising contractors andcoordinating resources to achieve service outcomes

• Well-developed communication, problemsolving and customer service skills

• Current C Class Driver's Licence, First Aid Certificate and National Police Clearance
