Croydon Shire Council is seeking an experienced Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Project Lead to coordinate the implementation of Council's new ERP system while supporting the Finance Team. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a major organisational project that will modernise business systems, improve operational efficiency and support the delivery of better services for the Croydon community.
The Position
Reporting to the Director Corporate Services, the ERP Project Lead is responsible for leading Council's transition to a new Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.
Working closely with Council staff, consultants, software vendors and executive leadership, you will coordinate every stage of the implementation, from project governance and business process reviews through to data migration, testing, training, change management and go-live.
In addition to project leadership responsibilities, you will also provide support to the Finance Team across a range of financial functions as required.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead Council's ERP implementation project
• Coordinate stakeholder engagement and change management
• Manage data migration, testing and system rollout
• Support finance operations and business improvement
• Liaise with vendors, consultants and internal teams
Skills & Experience Required
• Qualifications in Business, Accounting, Information Technology, Project Management or a related field (preferred)
• Experience leading or supporting ERP or business system implementations
• Knowledge of finance functions including budgeting, procurement, accounts and reporting
• Experience with business process reviews, testing, training and change management
• Strong communication, organisational and stakeholder management skills
• Current or ability to obtain a Queensland C Class Driver Licence
