The Oppor­tu­ni­ty

We seek a Team Mem­ber-Ovals and Parks Main­te­nance who will under­take a range of hor­ti­cul­tur­al activ­i­ties, specif­i­cal­ly relat­ed to Council’s ovals, parks and reserves. Ensur­ing com­pli­ance with safe­ty poli­cies, con­tribute to the main­te­nance and upkeep of ovals, parks, reserves, drains, verges and laneways includ­ing fer­til­is­ing, mow­ing, trim­ming, edg­ing and tree pruning.

Your respon­si­bil­i­ties will include Iden­ti­fy and remove weeds, pests and dis­eases and erad­i­cate them through the use of pes­ti­cides and her­bi­cides, safe­ly oper­ate and main­tain machin­ery includ­ing front deck mow­ers, edgers and whip­per-snip­pers, work unsu­per­vised and fol­low instruc­tions, and keep accu­rate dai­ly work records and report any issues includ­ing nec­es­sary repairs to the team leader/​super­vi­sor in a time­ly manner.

Attrac­tive salary of Lev­el 4(ME) $72,281.79 on Pro — rata Basis.
