As a Diesel Mechanic, you'll be keeping our diesel-powered vehicles and equipment in tip-top shape. Your skills will help make sure our plant and fleet run smoothly and safely.
You'll handle routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines, diagnose and
troubleshoot issues, inspect and test vehicles to fix mechanical problems. You will perform preventative maintenance to keep things running longer. You'll keep detailed records of all your work and work closely with the team to get the job done right.
About you
You’ll have proven experience as a Diesel Fitter or Plant Mechanic, in-depth knowledge of diesel engines and mechanical systems and proficiency with diagnostic tools and equipment. You will have strong problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail with the ability to work independently and as part of a team is also important.
