We are seeking a friendly, reliable and motivated University Student to work in our Emergency Management and Public Safety Department, specifically in our Disaster Management Unit!
Our Disaster Management Unit aims to build a safer and more resilient community. The key actions to achieve these aims includes partnering with stakeholders to develop arrangements to prevent, prepare, respond and recover from emergencies and disasters.
Working alongside professionals in this field, you will gain some great knowledge in the area of your studies as you assist the team in routine and project based administrative and maintenance tasks, contributing and delivering minor project work in support of Disaster Management Unit activities, supporting community engagement activities and reporting.
Your enthusiasm and drive will be paired with exceptional customer service skills as we strive to provide a great experience for all of our stakeholders we interact with.
You will be currently enrolled in relevant university studies ideally with an Emergency Management, Disaster Management, Community Recovery and other Human-Social consideration focus and be available to work a minimum of 21.75 hours a week (Monday to Friday).
