This position is required to effectively manage day-to-day operations of the Resource Recovery and Waste Management Facilities, achieving outcomes that meet the strategic goals for the organisation.

This position will develop a multi-skilled team, encourage best practices, ensure safety across all facility operations, and work closely with management to make improvements to all aspects of the facilities functions.

Blue Mountains Council is offering a unique opportunity for an enthusiastic leader to coordinate the operations at our Katoomba Waste Management Facility.

Remuneration: base salary commencing at $86,547 gross per annum
 + adverse working conditions of $2,590 gross per annum
 + 11.5% superannuation 
 + performance payment 1% - 3.5% annual salary 
 + annual award increase
