The Role

Working within our Strategic Planning unit, you will

  • Plan for key strategic infrastructure has been planned to support the City’s urban growth and major development areas.
  • Manage the preparation, costing, administration and implementation of Development Contribution Schemes.
  • Manage a range of projects including engaging with consultants, preparing project briefs and reviewing reports to support the planning and delivery of key strategic infrastructure projects.
  • Provide specialist advice and support on infrastructure and engineering matters.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Experience in the planning, design and delivery of infrastructure projects.
  • Relevant qualifications in project management, infrastructure planning, engineering or similar.
  • Experience in the project management of infrastructure related projects, including strategies, plans, policies and procedures.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation, ministerial guidelines and practice notes in relation to urban growth, subdivision and infrastructure planning.
  • Excellent written, communication and engagement skills and enjoy working in a team environment.

A satisfactory police records check is required for this position.
